Normandy has been the scene for many important events throughout history, from Norman times to the Liberation of Europe during the Second World War.
Luckily things have calmed down quite a lot now, but it’s unique history
has given it a very special character all of its own. We are close to many of
the historic places of Normandy. Either the D-Day landing beaches to the north;
or if you prefer to see something from a little further back there are the
many chataeux's to see.

Our houses are situated in some of the nicest countryside in Normandy. They
are quite remote and if you are tired of all the hustle and bustle of everyday
life, you will find the peace and quiet here very refreshing. You will also be
surprised at the number of stars you can see at night, thanks to there being no
street lights to pollute the sky.
The countryside is gently rolling hills, and is mainly agricultural.
